Cortijo Los Llanos
Rural Accommodation Cortijo Los Llanos is a unique place, surrounded by an unbeatable environment in the Altiplano region, Granada Geopark. Here, tranquility and privacy for enjoying a few days of relaxation are guaranteed.
The cortijo is located on a farm of approximately 18 hectares, certified for organic farming since 2006. Due to its location, it enjoys privileged views: La Sagra (2,383 m), Marmolance (1,519 m), Sierra Seca (2,100 m), Sierra de María, Sierra de La Encantada, and even Sierra Nevada. At night, without light pollution, the moon or stars come to us unbidden.

Our accommodations are fully equipped for a comfortable and pleasant stay, while you enjoy fantastic landscapes.

We uphold the spirit of an old cortijo and cherish the sound of crickets and cicadas, the incredible light, sunsets, silence, a few cats, and the night sky. Every action and effort is aimed at ensuring these experiences can be enjoyed in the best possible way.

Accessible for breakfasts, from 6:00 to 12:00 h.
Fully equipped: five-burner gas stove, oven, extractor fan, dishwasher, double sink, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, and both Italian and electric coffee makers.
With a large table where you will always find some seasonal fruits, depending on the time of year, grown on our own farm and certified organic.
Common area
A relaxation or work area, where you’ll find a small fridge and can enjoy a tea or coffee near your room.
Outdoor areas
Where you can enjoy spectacular views, a large terrace with a porch area, tables, trees, and a recreational area.
You will also find a large trough at the entrance to the cortijo, where you can cool off.
RESTORATION OF THE FARMHOUSE
Cortijo Los Llanos was purchased in 1979 from Mr. Antonio de Bustos y Ruiz de Arana, Baron of Bellpuig. At that time, it was almost exclusively used for livestock (sheep), as well as a vegetable garden for the household, some pigs, butchering, bread and sweets, and preserves.
It was in 1997 when I decided to move to the Cortijo, still without electricity or water, with four very small windows and everything in need of restoration. I must say that these years have been filled with many good experiences and a few tough ones.
In the last 4 or 5 years, we have faced the question: let it collapse or restore it?
And here we are.
The complete renovation of this cortijo has been carried out with great respect for the original elements and the incorporation of comfort, technology, and sustainability features.
